Friday-My day from HELL - - --Saturday? You decide

Friday

Friday I thought I was working the first shift at work(6am-1:30pm), as I get there at "the half-crack of dawn" I realize I am not scheduled to appear at work until 11am, the second shift til 7:30pm. Well I had planned my day under the assumption that I was getting off at 1:30pm, and I could then
  1. run my errands
  2. go to study group at 2:30
  3. then dinner with a friend
  4. then go to the Prizery for the play at 8pm
Well, I had to scratch all of the above except for #4, go to the play at the Prizery.
Meanwhile, I am already up early, not enough time to go back to bed. I had breakfast with the senior citizen support group, then went to the Ymca where I work out amongst the other senior citizens, then I went home and played around on the computer, then back to work at 11am.

My equilibrium was off balance, and my Feng shai was a disarray already. Any little thing just irked my nerves that normally wouldn't. I can't get in to details, but let your imagination run wild , I work in customer service! :D

With great relief, my friends at the Prizery and on Facebook remind me that tomorrow (Saturday) is a new day, with new adventures. Boy were they right!

Saturday

I head out to Wal-Mart to buy a pair of sunglasses because it was just too sunny bright to drive to Greensboro without. As I'm in my car trying to removed to ridiculously attached tag, I break the arm. GRR, My day is ruined already.
Next, I scurry off to fill up with gas. As I enter the gas station, I hit the curb, pretty hard. I fill up with gas and proceed to my destination. Then my "check engine" lights start flashing, my "Temperature" gauge rises. I pull over and investigate. I have knock loose my Radiator fluid reservoir. Hmm. No Greensboro for me. I wait on my rescue from my cousin. She gets to Danville and we slowly, and I mean very slowly make it home stopping every 4 miles to let the engine cool and add fluid the car. As we get closer home, and friend of my cousin come to bring more water for my radiator. As he inspects under the hood, he then tells me about what I have done to the reservoir. He says, the solution is , add the fluid to the radiator. We did, and it has been just peachy ever since. Next on my Bucket-List, get new reservoir.

I get home Saturday at 2pm, I got to the Y to relieve some stress. I come home watch TV, take a nap, my friend Lesley comes over and my day has finally calmed down, I'm in a great mode and everything is going smooth.

SYKE!!

I get pulled over by a cop on our way to Wendys.

Officer: Do you know why I pulled you over?
Me: No sir, not a clue.
Officer: Did you know you have a headlight out?
Me: Oh yes, I do, I'm in the middle of getting things straight with my insurance company.
Officer: Oh , did you have a wreck?
Me: no
Officer : (puzzled look on his face)
Me:Well, a deer took a suicide dive in to the front of my car while driving home one night
Officer: Oh, i know what you mean. If your license come back clean I'm going to let you go on a warning, ok?
Me: ok.

The office was very cute I must add, and I was released on a warning.

Light. Camera , Action!!!

Okay, so . . . I have been gone for a while. I'm feeling like im missing something by not blogging, so guess what??? I'm back. I don't plan to update this everyday, but hopefully 3 or more times a week.

I'd like to share an AWESOME story with you readers. Yesterday (Feb 17th) I received a package in the mail. Not having a return address or a "from" I was shocked as to who in the world sent me something in a big brown package. I didn't order anything. As I open this, I discover its a book. Not just any book, but Paula Deens "The Lady and Sons of Savannah". I'm so excited. The interrogation process begins. I text/call everyone I could think of that has my address. After hours of searching, my secret admirer was Holly (Check out her etsy page). She is super awesome and want her to know how much she means to me. Holly was the one I called when I was sick in the hospital with Strep Throat/Viral Meningitis/Upper respiratory infection/and a boyfriend who broke up with me. Holly went thru a rough November with me. I bet she entertained the thought of changing her phone number. Right Holly?

Any-who, in the mean time, I'm trying to get invited to Paula Deens show so she can teach this young man here how to cook. So if you will, join me by writing on Paul Deens Facebook Wall "Host Barry Tuck on your cooking show!!!"
